#Route tunnel system map in the shivering isles how to This quest is initiated by reading the note on Amber and Ore of Madness, found on Thoron’s worktable during the quest “Restore Order”. #Route tunnel system map in the shivering isles how to In order to know how to do this, you will first need to complete the miscellaneous quest “Amber and Madness Smithing”. This is done by melting two pieces of amber, resulting in one piece of refined amber each time. In order to be able to do anything with Amber in Skyrim, you will need to convert it to Refined Amber. The courier will give you the note on the new goods after completing this quest, and this is what triggers the commercial availability of this resource. Just like getting Amber from the Loneliness Sewer, you won’t be able to buy it from traders until you complete “Restore Order”. If you can find one of these trailers, you can buy Amber directly from them. Once at their destination, they will set up camps outside the main city entrances for business. These traders travel by caravan and can be encountered on the road, going from town to town. An alternative to venturing into these sewers is to seek out the Khajit traders, from whom you can also get glass. It is inside these tree stumps that amber is most often found, so be sure to loot anything you can find for this important resource. Inside there are many stumps of hollow trees. This tunnel will be lined with trees, mushrooms, and will house many elytra and spriggans. Down below Solitude in the Sewers you’ll find a hollow root tunnel, which is part of the Shivering Isles root system. This quest will take you into the sewers. The best place to find it has to be the Loneliness Sewers in Loneliness West, which remains locked for the player until the “Restoring Order” quest in the Saints & Seducers questline is completed. You can identify amber by its orange-brown color and egg-shaped shape, and it can be found in different places around Skyrim.
